Laura’s choice of midnight blue for the bridesmaids’ dresses and seasonal fruit in the centrepieces, dictated the delicious, plum and grape palette of the wedding flowers. The centrepieces in the Oak Hall looked good enough to eat, with an abundance of autumn berries and candles arranged on oak plinths. Only a few flowers were needed amongst the blackberries, figs, plums and grapes to finish them off with a flourish.
A brief detour to deliver the buttonholes to Simon at The Orchard Hotel, before delivering the bridal flowers to Swancar. The Orchard Hotel, a superb, brand new, eco-friendly hotel standing in the grounds of Nottingham University, made a great backdrop for these fun images of simon and his groomsmen’
Laura and her maids got ready at Swancar, before being whisked off to the church for the wedding ceremony.
