From the first meeting with Rachael, I knew that this was going to be one fabulous, fun wedding.I just loved her ideas, ombre shades of pink, a riot of blooms and glittering gold highlights. Her marriage to Adam was to take place in the lovely little village church in Edwalton, we decided to dress the aisle with a few simple and colourful pew ends, they worked a treat and were moved afterwards to The Village Hall at Waltham on the Wolds where the wedding breakfast was to be held.
Rachael loves Carnations, and who can blame her? They are available in a myriad of colours these days, and they worked so well in her bouquet and as ‘mismatched’ buttonholes, for Adam and his Grooms men.
Bouquets, wrist corsages and flowers for their hair were delivered for Rachael and her six maids’ who’d all spent the ‘wedding eve’ at The Hilton Hotel in Nottingham. They’d had a fabulous night and were excitedly preparing for the big day.
The transformation of the village hall was amazing, pink and gold lanterns, fairy lights, and an array of glittery gold vases full of blooms.
A gorgeous selection of cottage garden flowers were used throughout all of the designs, including highly scented, beautiful pink, garden roses to dress the delicious, gold and pink cake. (Which had been lovingly made by a very talented friend)
The beautiful bouquet.
Must say a huge thank you to Emily and Katie for the gorgeous images. If your looking for your wedding photographer check out these two lovely ladies here, they’d certainly help you to create gorgeous memories of your big day.
