A vibrant, dazzling, colour palette, taking inspiration from peacock feathers for Alistair and Ruth’s August wedding was an exciting colour scheme for me to use, after a summer, full of soft pastel shades.
Electric blue Delphiniums, deep purple Lisianthus and Alchemilla in lime green were just perfect for the natural, wild and unstructured look that Ruth was dreaming of.
Simple jars full of flowers and a huge pedestal were used to stunning effect in the church of St. Mary’s in Wollaton. After the ceremony these were all moved to The Strathdon Hotel and used as striking centrepieces.
Bottles in jewel bright colours were used on each table, these had been decorated and grouped together by Ruth and her maids’ the day before.
